Alisha’s Post:
The scholarly article I chose was https://files.eric.ed.gov/fulltext/ED554557.pdf (Links to an external site.). The article is about the positive effects of technology on teaching and student learning. Much like this course, this article expresses the importance of technology in a learning environment. Giving the direction we are headed, we rely heavily on technology. Technology is used by children and adults daily. We live in a world with an evolving technological society. In fact, we have become so reliant on technology that we are dependent on it, losing the ability to complete handwritten paperwork. This article was written by an associate professor of curriculum and instruction from Arkansas Tech Univerity. The article was published through the University and all sources are well documented at the end of the article.

Magugu’s Post:
The scholarly website that I chose is https://www.tandfonline.com/toc/ycih20/current which is a journal of communication in healthcare. (Links to an external site.)It has several articles that have been authored by professionals and edited by the editor-in-chief Arnstein Finset, who is a medical psychologist and holds a PhD in the field. This is one of the main reasons that shows it is a reliable source. The website, especially this journal issue, is about editorial and empirical studies on perception of racial bias and racial disparities in responses to emotions in clinical encounters. The website is intended for patients in general. The website educates patients on the different clinical experiences, for example, those in palliative care. The website also gives more insight on communication in the clinical environment, for example, communication of diagnostic results. The journal was published by Maney Publishing, in UK. The publication history of the journal covers 2014-ongoing. The authors of the articles in the journal have appropriately cited their sources and have referenced their sources at the end of each article.
