If something is new and you feel that you can learn a little about yourself or others from it, then feel free to pursue it. The only hard rule is that it MUST TAKE PLACE DURING OUR 8 WEEKS TOGETHER, and must be submitted by the end of week 6 so that you can each respond to your classmates’ threads.It does not have to cost any money or be an intellectual event. It can involve spending time with your family or a bunch of strangers. Many students have chosen to attend a religious service that is not their normal method of worship. Some people like to go out to try an ethnic meal or festival. Others have spent time at museums or locations they might not have otherwise gone to. There are many College Success Seminars offered on the campus that I highly recommend.
