EXP105 Ashford University Week 5 Personal Development Plan Project

Personal Development Plan

[CLOs: 1, 2, 3, 4]

For your final project, you have an exciting opportunity to apply all that you learned throughout this class as you create your own Personal Development Plan. Why a Personal Development Plan? Personal development expert Jim Rohn says, “When you look at successful people, you will almost always discover a plan behind their success. It is the foundation for success” (Rohn, as cited in Valchanova, 2018). To achieve your goals and dreams, figuring it out as you go along is not the most effective approach. A personal development plan helps you identify where you are headed, and how you’ll get there, with specifics and intentionality (Valchanova, 2018).

This final project provides an opportunity to create a workable plan for your academic and career-focused goals. In this Personal Development Plan, you will create professional and academic SMART goals, and reflect on the impact of mindfulness and motivation on achieving your goals. Note that this final project will be uploaded in your Folio and be included as part of your earned points when the assignment is graded. Pay attention to the Folio instructions below and the grading rubric.
